Sysix Technologies Named Among Top 125 eBusiness Solutions Providers in North America
Listing in prestigious VARBusiness "E-100 + 25" is fueled by Sysix role in the innovative Solutions Consortium, along with the company's offerings – blending eBusiness and enterprise infrastructure, single-point solutions, knowledge transfer and financing.
Westmont, IL – January 3, 2001
Sysix Technologies, LLC, a complete IT solutions provider and leading player in the new Solutions Consortium, announced today that it has been honored with inclusion in the "VARBusiness E-100 + 25 Listing" for the Year 2000. This prestigious listing names the largest 125 eBusiness providers in North America.
Sysix, a national organization based in Chicago's suburban technology corridor, delivers leading-edge eBusiness and enterprise technology solutions to manufacturers, financial services, health care and other mid-market organizations. In addition to eBusiness, Sysix focuses on supply chain management (SCM), customer relationship management (CRM), business intelligence (BI) and extended enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions.
According to John Sheaffer, president of Sysix Technologies, "VARBusiness Magazine is a highly regarded global technology publication. We are honored to be named among its top eBusiness solutions providers in the U.S. Inclusion in the VARBusiness E-100 + 25 Listing demonstrates the important role technology solutions providers play as architects of the New Economy."
Sheaffer continued, "The E-100 + 25 Listing is also evidence of our continuing commitment to helping customers thrive in the evolving Internet market space. Sysix provides solutions which can be implemented quickly and effectively, with minimal risk, for companies under increasing pressure to justify technology investments."
Michael Uliss, publisher of VARBusiness, adds, "Companies listed in the E-100 + 25 have made a profound impact on the entire technology industry and the overall economy due to the strategic decisions they make, the technologies they select, and the recommendations they make for their customers. These elite technology organizations are on everyone's 'Most-Wanted' lists."
According to CMP Media, VARBusiness Magazine's parent company, the companies in the E-100+ 25 Listing generated $13.8 billion in revenue last year, with 14 percent of smaller firms within the listing posting growth rates exceeding 100%.
Sysix is differentiated by its solution sets which are bundled around four key areas: 1) Strategic business/IT alignment; 2) Integrated solutions built with technology from market leaders such as HP, EMC, Oracle, Cisco, and others; 3) Training and knowledge transfer; 4) Flexible financing options. In September 2000, Sysix announced a partnership with three additional technology companies to form the Solutions Consortium. The consortium teams the four organizations together to blend methodologies and market expertise into a single 'virtual' company focused on IT and eBusiness solutions.
Founded in 1988, Sysix reported revenues of $28 million in 1999 and is projecting $32 million in 2000. In addition to a new headquarters facility outside of Chicago in Westmont, IL, Sysix maintains five offices across the country, with recent expansion into the Eastern Seaboard and New England areas.
