Sysix Companies Fortifies Leadership Team with Appointment of Leading Industry Storage Expert

Chicago, IL – May 14, 2006
Sysix, a national provider of IT business solutions spanning computer hardware and software, consulting and financial services, announced today that is has enriched its executive leadership team with the appointment of Arvy Srinivasan, a leading storage/technology industry veteran to lead the company’s storage business. Under the direction of Mr. Srinivasan, Sysix will design and implement ‘total’ storage solutions built with technology from IBM (NYSE:IBM); EMC (NYSE:EMC); HP (NYSE: HPQ); Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ:SUNW) and Hitachi Data Systems. Sysix storage solutions are widely recognized for helping Fortune 1000 and mid-market companies across the United States manage and protect a growing volume of data for improved business productivity.

According to John Sheaffer, CEO of Sysix, the addition of Mr. Srinivasan to the executive leadership team is a true asset to Sysix and its customers. “New government compliance regulations and exploding volumes of data have powered the growth of our storage business by 25 percent and demands that customers adopt a strategic approach to their storage infrastructure. Arvy Srinivasan is highly qualified to help our customers meet this challenge, as he has more than a decade of expertise with global technology firms such as Motorola (NYSE: MOT) and GE (NYSE: GE). As a result, Sysix will continue to offer customers a total approach to storage solutions that ensure business continuity, help lower the total cost of ownership and protect data across the entire information lifecycle.”

Arvy Srinivasan, adds, “With the growing pressure to store, access and manage data for improved business operations and to meet new regulatory demands, Sysix customers must continually refresh and upgrade their storage infrastructure.

Sysix is in an excellent position to meet this market demand as the company partners with all the market leading storage providers and can help customers architect the optimum solution to meet their unique needs and budget requirements.”

According to Standard & Poor’s Equity Research Services, companies involved with data storage are benefiting from the corporations’ response to heightened regulatory scrutiny associated with email retention and record keeping, which is driving the build-out of networked storage configurations and more robust user applications. “We believe both consumers and corporations will have increased data storage needs as the digital world continues to take root. Whether it’s portable media players or devices that can archive years worth of emails, data storage hardware has become an essential part of everyday life,” stated Richard Stice, CFA, Data Storage Analyst with Standard and Poor’s Equity Research Services in a recent news announcement. “As a result, we have favorable recommendations on a number of companies in this area.” (Source: PR NewsWire, March 13, 2006. www.standardandpoors.com).
