Sysix Technologies, LLC, Bolsters West Coast Presence and Acquires San Francisco Bay Area-based Diamond Micro Solution Inc.
Strategic acquisition of leading Bay Area infrastructure and solutions provider to help fuel Sysix 40% growth rate and enhance signature "bundled" solution offerings spanning blue chip infrastructure, consulting and financing for Mid-tier and Fortune 1000 firms.

Sysix Companies, a national provider of business technology solutions including hardware and software products, consulting and financing, announced today the acquisition of specific assets of Diamond Micro Solutions, Inc.., a San Francisco Bay area-based infrastructure firm with a focus on disaster recovery, information security, and a wide range of networking products and solutions. The acquisition includes the Diamond Micro name, trademark and website, as well as retaining the majority of their sales and consulting personnel. This move will fortify Sysix presence in the growing Silicon Valley and Western United States markets, and will support the delivery of Sysix "bundled" solutions for West Coast customers in the manufacturing, financial services, education, private sector and services industries. Specific terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Additionally, Sysix announced the opening of its West Coast headquarters facility and the appointment of 20-year technology veteran Phil Woudenberg as General Manager of Sysix West Coast operations. The facility, based in the Bay Area in San Leandro, CA, will be the base for Sysix operations in California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and the Pacific Northwest.

Under terms of the agreement which was formalized September 30, 2002, Diamond Micro's sales and consulting operations, supporting the full range of disaster recovery, storage, security and networking infrastructure, will be integrated with Sysix infrastructure and consulting practices. In addition, Diamond Micro's respected client roster will add nearly 20 percent to Sysix established customer base, which grew more than 33% in 2002. With the acquisition , Sysix expects to grow 30 percent in revenues to nearly $40 million for 2003.

Prior to joining Sysix, Phil built an excellent reputation for technology expertise and services delivery in several executive positions at Forsythe Solutions."
