Sysix Technologies Awarded IBM iSeries™ Authorization
New authorization expands Sysix IBM solution offerings with servers designed to cut complexity, reduce bottom line costs and speed implementation for Mid-market and Fortune 1000 users.
Chicago, IL – July 25, 2002
The Sysix Companies, an IBM business partner and national provider of single-point solutions for business technology infrastructure, consulting and financing, announced today that Sysix Technologies, the Companies' product reseller division, has earned authorization from IBM Corp. to offer the IBM AS400 iSeries™ integrated application servers. The iSeries complements Sysix existing offerings of IBM's pSeries UNIX® servers and xSeries Intel® processor-based servers- allowing Sysix to bring its customers the complete line of IBM servers, along with additional IBM infrastructure solutions including products for networking, workstations/desktops, and storage.
Sysix national sales and support organization will offer the complete line of IBM servers to mid-market and Fortune 1000 customers in the manufacturing, financial services, education, health care and professional services markets. Implementation and knowledge transfer on IBM iSeries solutions will be offered by Sysix consulting and sales support team.
