Sysix Growth in Sales to Public Agencies, Education, Government and Life Sciences Results in "Top Star Public Sector Award" from IBM

Sysix Solutions, Inc. receives IBM award recognizing its innovative solutions, unique delivery approach, industry expertise and 50 percent growth in revenues from public sector solutions

Chicago, IL – June 19, 2006
Sysix Solutions, Inc., a growing provider of IT business solutions spanning computer hardware and software, consulting and financial services, has been honored with a "Top Star Public Sector Award" from IBM Corporation (NYSE: IBM) for excellence in delivering innovative technology solutions designed specifically for public sector agencies, educational organizations, government and life sciences/health care firms. Sysix received this leading award from IBM based on its strong growth in serving the public sector both in the United States and abroad, as well as the company's unique "total solution" delivery approach. Sysix also reported that the company's Q1 2006 revenues reached nearly $18 million dollars, a 50 percent increase over the same period the prior year, due in part to strong sales of industry-specific solutions.

According to Steve Otto, Vice President of Sysix Technologies, "We are proud to receive this prestigious honor from IBM, one of the world's largest and most respected technology companies. The award is a testament to Sysix success and double-digit growth from solutions specifically targeted to government and public agencies, universities and school districts and a wide range of life sciences and health care organizations."

Otto continued, "Similar to the sharp rise in the adoption of technology in the commercial business markets over the past 10 years, public agencies both in the USA and internationally are now moving toward the increasing use of technology to solve operational challenges, accommodate growth and improve the management of documents and organizational processes. We expect this trend to continue to drive strong revenues from Sysix public sector solutions both domestically and internationally."

Alex Gogh, Vice President, Marketing, IBM Global Public Sector, added "The IBM Public Sector Top Star award honors our Business Partners such as Sysix who have excelled in delivering innovative solutions that take full advantage of IBM technologies. Our new Top Star winners are helping their government, healthcare and life sciences, and education clients around the world broaden their vision of what’s possible. They are true partners and collaborators who exemplify a mutual passion and determination to tackle big challenges and change the world."

Public Sector Seeks Solutions to Support Internet Use, Security, Storage, Networking and Back-Up

According to Bill Laflamme, Director of IBM Solutions at Sysix, "Our growing base of public sector customers needs to support the increasing use of the Internet, along with the implementation of 'e-based' document management and organizational processes. In addition to offering expertise on the optimum technology infrastructure to accommodate these initiatives, Sysix provides consulting services to help agencies assess needs and implement solutions along with financial options, such as municipal, tax-exempt leasing solutions, which can protect stringent budgetary requirements."

The Sysix brand is recognized in the USA and increasingly in international markets for providing technology, consulting and financing solutions to mid-market, Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 organizations. In addition to IBM, Sysix is a partner of HP (NYSE: HPQ), Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ:SUNW), EMC (NYSE: EMC), Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO), Oracle (NASDAQ: ORLC), F5 Networks, Inc. (NSADAQ: FFIV), Hitachi Data Systems and others.
